The church, dedicated to St. Lawrence dates from the 12th century. The nave is composed of four bays and a 16th-century panelled ceiling. It is prolonged by a semi-circular apse. The church has retained its round-arched Romanesque windows and a fine north door. The tower dates back to the 15th century and partially conceals the west façade
The legend of Saint Hubert: Saint Hubert was so worldly that he chased after a stag on Good Friday. When he caught up with the stag he had a vision of a crucifix between the animal's antlers and was converted. He became bishop of Tongres-Maastricht and later of Liège. He is the patron of hunters.
