Saint-Jean-BaptisteLoir-et-Cher (41)

With the exception of the western façade (porch and tower were erected in the 19th century), the church is a Romanesque construction. The nave, with its panelled vault is prolonged by a narrower choir and a half-domed semi-circular apse. The apse, with its three Romanesque windows, its capitals adorned with vegetable patterns supporting a 12th-century triumphal arch and its mural paintings, is the most interesting part of the edifice.
