Cathédrale Saint-JulienSarthe (72)

Built from the 11thto the 15th centuries. The church has a 12th-century nave with five bays. The 11th-century side-aisles have ten bays. The transepts date to the 14th and 15thcenturies. The 13th-century chancel is surrounded by an ambulatory with 13 radiating chapels. Outside, the chevet (13th century) is remarkable and its flying-buttresses have an almost aerial gracefulness
