The priory of Saint-Martin was founded around 1050 by baron Guy I. The church probably dates back to the early 11th or late 12th century. It consists of a single nave, a transept that is lower than the nave, a narrow chancel and an apse. An oriented chapel is appended to each arm of the transept . Two side arches, known as "passages berrichons" enabled worshippers or pilgrims to go directly from the nave to the chapels in the arms of the transept. The northern wall of the nave is pierced with five tapering round-arched windows. The tower stands above the crossing. Ech side of the tower is pierced with two windows.
