Marchésieux, Église Saint-Manvieu

The church, which is dedicated to St. Manvieu, dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries. The nave and collaterals predate the chancel and flat chevet, the tower and porch, which were built in the late 13th or early 14th century. St. Manvieu was bishop of Bayeux in Normandy in the 5th century. Germanic name "Man-wig"
