Saint-Ceneri
SAINT-CENERI CHURCH
Built in the late 11th century. The choir and the two transepts prolonged by apsidioles have not been altered. The nave and the square tower surmounted by a saddle-roof were erected around 1125. The church was "restored" in the 19th century... (west front and neo-Gothic windows).
The mural paintings date back to the 14th and 15th centuries, except the geometrical patterns below the tower (12th century).
