Cravant-les-Côteaux
Former parish church of the Vieux-Bourg (Old Village). Despite appearances and local lore, the nave is unlikely to be Carolingian but dates to the early 11th century. Some Carolingian decorative patterns from the primitive church may have been reused. The panelled ceiling dates to the 15th century. The pointed-arched chancel, the semidomed apse as well as the west façade were built in the 12th century. A 15th-century building contains a spiral stair and two monolithic Merovingian or Carolingian pilasters
