La partie ancienne de l'édifice se situe à la façade occidentale et aux deux tiers occidentaux du mur sud de la nef . Le mur nord a disparu au XVème siècle pour la construction d'un collatéral. Au XIIèmesiècle on a appuyé contre le mur sud de la nef un beau portail et on a flanqué l'église d'un clocher en marquant d'un contrefort la limite de la reprise. L'actuel chevet comportant une travée droite et une abside arrondie date probablement de la même époque.
